2002-2003

Task Force Information

A 70-member Task Force representing the range of disabilities and agencies that serve people with disabilities met from 2002 to 2003 to develop recommendations for Virginia's response to the Olmstead decision. The result was a report, submitted in September 2003 to the Governor, the Joint Commission on Health Care, and the Chairs of the House Appropriations and Senate Finance Committees. The Report enumerated 201 recommendations to improve Virginia's system of services and support for people with disabilities. Please, follow the links below to learn more about the Task Force.
