  2. Service Description and Eligibility Requirements, If Any: Services for at-risk children. Eligibility is prescribed by Code of Virginia § 2.2-5212.
  3. Service Preauthorization Required: Yes - when Medicaid is used. Otherwise, local entities may have to have local administration pre-authorization.
  4. Target Population/s: At-risk youth; see Code of Virginia, § 2.2-5211
  5. Method of Administration: State - Office of Comprehensive Services; Local-Community Policy and Management Teams.
  6. General Availability of the Service Across the Commonwealth (e.g., statewide, only available in certain localities): Statewide
  7. Number of Persons Served Annually (Provide and indicate most recent year available): In FY 2001, 14,700 youth were served.
  8. Annual Service Cost/Allocation (Provide and indicate the most recent year available): $194 million
